About Lessons
|
Alexander Technique lessons take place in a supportive atmosphere based on constructive observation, verbal feedback, and gentle hands-on guidance. Instruction is tailored to the needs of each individual and addresses their particular abilities and aspirations. Students learn specific skills to apply to their daily lives and chosen activities. In addition to the work done while upright, lessons typically include supported movement on a bodywork table to release excess muscular tension and improve breathing. Lessons are thirty to fifty minutes in length and are done in comfortable non-restrictive clothes. |
